Discover the fascinating story of the man who shaped modern Cambodia and immerse yourself in the work of visionary architect Vann Molyvann, master of New Khmer architecture.
His iconic buildings (Olympic Stadium, Chaktomuk Conference Hall, etc.) symbolised the golden age of independence. This poignant documentary explores not only his genius but also his struggle to preserve his legacy in the face of rampant urban development. An essential film about memory, identity and resilience.
This screening is followed by a Q&A with Christopher Rompré and is part of a series of events that explore contemporary architecture, linked to the exhibition ADAPTATION(S).
