As part of the Adaptation(s) exhibition, this roundtable explores how contemporary architecture in Cambodia is developing strategies to adapt to the climate, reinterpret heritage and rethink the relationship between public and private spaces.
In a context of rapid transformation of Cambodian cities, architects face numerous challenges:
Tropical climate
Multiple legacies
Urban densification
Evolving lifestyles
Architects, urban planners and researchers will share their perspectives on these practices, which contribute to building a contextualised architectural modernity that is attentive to local resources and social uses.
