OxfordAQA: More choice. More time. More flexibility.

We’re making improvements to how we deliver our exams, based on feedback from hundreds of schools worldwide.

These improvements are designed to give you more choice, more time and more flexibility and will be introduced gradually between now and 2029. We'll be releasing May/June exam results earlier from 2027 – at the end of July – with no change to the exam timings. We're also adding an additional International AS and A-level exam series in October/November from 2028.

Students of International AS and A-level Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Economics will have three opportunities per year to sit exams from 2029, with a January exam series alongside May/June and October/November. Other updates include a later entry deadline for May/June exams from February to early March, from 2027, and two submission windows per year for the International EPQ, in May and November, starting this year.
