Learn How to Draw Manga with Khmer Artist LEAB Thimy

Creative workshop for 12-year-olds and up.

Discover a simple, fun and accessible approach to learning portrait drawing, with an introduction inspired by manga style!

Through the study of eyes, nose, mouth, ears and hair, you'll learn to observe, understand and correctly position each facial feature, building on solid foundations of composition. Whether drawing from the front or in profile, this workshop will guide you step by step to master proportions, harmony and facial expressions while exploring the expressive codes of manga: large, expressive eyes, accentuated emotions and dynamic styles.

A creative and fun experience to develop your artistic eye, refine your technique and bring unique and expressive portraits to life!

About the Artist

LEAB Thimy is a decorative painter and instructor. He specialises in interior decoration, trompe-l'œil, grisaille, faux wood and faux marble. He has worked in France and internationally, notably for the palace of the Saudi Arabian royal family. He has also managed and trained teams of decorative painters. Thimy Leab shares his passion and expertise with his students and clients through his creations and training programmes.
